Scholarships for BSc Agriculture Offered by Swat Agriculture University

The University of Agriculture Swat, which is a public university recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC), is giving out scholarships for students who want to study BSc in Agriculture. These scholarships are fully funded and are part of the “Climate Change and Mountain Agriculture Scholarship Scheme.

Undergraduate Scholarships for BSc Agriculture 2024

The university is offering these scholarships for the B.Sc. (Hons) Agriculture program, which has specializations in Food Science and Technology, Entomology, Plant Breeding and Genetics, Horticulture, and Soil and Environmental Sciences. This opportunity is for the 2023-27 academic session.

The deadline for applying is December 26, 2023.

Application Procedure

To apply, candidates need to get the admission form and bank receipt from the university’s official website. They must then deposit Rs.1000/- (which is non-refundable) at any Bank of Khyber branch, Account No. 5203003004012339.

Eligibility Requirements:

The completed application form, along with attested copies of necessary documents (SSC, HSSC, Domicile, CNIC, and two passport-size photographs) and the original bank receipt(s), should be sent to The University of Agriculture Swat by December 26, 2023, either in person or through courier.

For eligibility, applicants need to have a minimum of 45% marks in both SSC and HSSC (Pre-Medical or Pre-Engineering). There will be two merit-based scholarships for each district, covering tuition and monthly stipends. The admission merit will be calculated based on the total percentage of marks in SSC (40% weight) and HSSC (60% weight).
