PSX Achieves Historic High with KSE-100 Index Surpassing 65,000 Points

In Pakistan, the stock market went up a lot on Friday. The KSE-100 index at the Pakistan Stock Exchange reached a new record high of 65,000 points. This happened because the country’s economy is getting better, and they are expecting to get more money from the International Monetary Fund (IMF)

At 11:00 am, the index was at 65,886 points, going up by 1,168 points during the day.

The IMF is going to review Pakistan’s situation on January 11, 2024, and if everything is okay, they might give Pakistan $700 million. Last month, Pakistan and the IMF agreed to a plan where Pakistan can get up to $3 billion.
