November 2023 Witnesses a Decrease of 0.51 Million 3G/4G Users in Pakistan

In November 2023, fewer people were using mobile phones and fast internet in Pakistan compared to October 2023, according to information from the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA).

The total number of mobile phone users went down from 189.77 million in October to 189.26 million in November.

In Pakistan, the number of people using 3G and 4G internet also decreased from 126.92 million in October to 126.24 million in November.

The percentage of people using mobile phones, known as teledensity, went down from 79.32 percent in October to 78.98 percent in November. The overall teledensity decreased from 80.4 percent in October to 80.06 percent in November.

The use of Next Generation Mobile Service (NGMS) went down from 53.05 percent in October to 52.68 percent in November.

For Jazz, a mobile network, the number of people using 3G internet went down from 3.731 million in October to 3.569 million in November. The number of 4G users also decreased from 43.172 million in October to 42.754 million in November.

Zong, another mobile network, saw a decrease in 3G users from 2.320 million in October to 2.265 million in November. However, the number of 4G users increased from 33.797 million in October to 33.869 million in November.

Telenor, another mobile company, experienced a decline in 3G users from 2.567 million in October to 2.477 million in November. The number of 4G users with Telenor also went down from 23.240 million in October to 23.196 million in November.

Ufone, a mobile network, had fewer users for 3G internet, with 2.230 million in November compared to 2.352 million in October. However, the number of 4G users increased from 14.228 million in October to 14.349 million in November.
