Government Expected to Announce Positive Developments Regarding Petrol Prices This Week

Stay tuned for promising updates on petrol prices as the government is anticipated to deliver positive news later this week.

Government Expected to Announce Positive Developments Regarding Petrol Prices This Week

Fuel prices in Pakistan are likely to go down a lot—up to Rs. 15 per liter. Initial estimates suggest that High-Speed Diesel could drop by Rs. 15, and MS Petrol by Rs. 13 per liter starting from December 15.

If international prices stay low in the next few days, the prices of local petrol and diesel could be around Rs. 268-269 and Rs. 274-275 in the upcoming two-week pricing cycle from December 15, 2023.

The main reason for this expected reduction is the lower global fuel prices seen since the last review of domestic fuel prices.

Due to a $5.49 decrease in international fuel prices, the cost of petrol in Pakistan might fall by Rs. 13, and diesel by Rs. 15 per liter starting from December 16.
