Etzaz Hussain and Apollon FC Part Ways Amicably

Mian Etzaz Muzaffar Hussain, a football player from Pakistan and Norway, has left Apollon FC with their agreement. Apollon Limassol FC is a team in Cyprus, and right now, they are in the 7th position in the top division of football in Cyprus.

Etzaz joined Apollon FC in the summer of 2023 and played in seven matches since the season started. However, the team changed managers four times last year, and Etzaz didn’t get many chances to play in the games.

Before joining Apollon FC, Etzaz, who is 30 years old, played in the Manchester United youth academy for two seasons from 2009 to 2011. He spent nine years at Molde FK Club in Norway, winning four league titles and playing with famous Norwegian player Erling Haaland.

Etzaz recently got his Pakistani passport from the Pakistani embassy in Norway. Now, he might represent Pakistan in the FIFA World Cup qualifiers in March against Jordan. He was the first Pakistani footballer in the UEFA Europa League and played for Norway’s youth teams from under-16 to under-23.
