The holiday period will extend from April 10 to April 13, providing residents with an extended break to celebrate the festive occasion with their families and loved ones.

This announcement comes in anticipation of the sighting of the Shawwal moon, with the Pakistan Meteorological Department indicating possibilities for its sighting on April 9. According to the department, the new moon is expected to appear on the night of April 8 at 11:21 PM, increasing the likelihood of its sighting the following day.
